Years 1 and 2 Forest School 30/01/26
The clay is always a huge hit with these year groups. Lots of creativity and patience making some wonderful pieces. There were some culinary delights being thrown together in the mud kitchen and a homemade seesaw gave lots of entertainment.

Class Four Forest School 29/01/26
Class four have been looking at 'life cycles', so we thought we would carry this out into forest school. We spoke about what we may find in our area, how we can identify creatures and where we may find them. It was a chilly session but the children were great!

Reception Forest School 23/01/26
It has been a little bit wet recently but this did not dampen our spirits. The children all got wrapped up and embraced the mud! Reception have been looking at 'toys' as their topic this term. We chatted around base camp about how children played outside many years ago, with no plastic toys in sight. We made some conker targets, a conker run, our own take on skittles and stepping stones. It was great fun!

This was a wet session (and very mucky one) but the smiles said it all!

Fun in the snow January 2026
Snow day January 9th 2026
Reception are enjoying their first forest school session. They made a very cool 😎 Conker run. They also decorated conkers to make into necklaces and explored the mud kitchens. To kick the session off we enjoyed an autumnal story together.
